Following on from a series of singles and compilation features throughout 2018, "Human Drama" is the first full digital release from Mick McCarthy.

Another project from label founder Lewis Thompson's various aliases, Mick McCarthy is an adulation to assorted electronic and dance music aesthetics. "Feeling Good About Urself" opens with a rattling 707 beat accompanied by an emotionally strained and heavily processed vocal addition. Throughout the rest of the release, "Paradise" & "Restrained" exhibit the influence of contemporary Scandinavian style ambient movements alongside techno tinged rhythms. Ending the release is "Trashbat" with a much more floor focused arrangement surrounded in distorted field recordings.
